The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA might be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency mentioned it is alarmed with regard to the substantial range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office committed to service the area regularly.
